So far, the researches on vibration of the large space structures are mostly focus on active control or the relative testes.In this paper, we present a general passive vibration control method for a space truss using a receptance modification by the structural stiffness and damp updating.First, we present a matrix expression with modification points and quantity according to the deformation characteristics of the space truss, and use the Sherman-Morrison-Woodbury formula to obtain the high-rank inverse matrix.Then we discuss the robustness of this passive control method.At last, we conduct a numerical example of a 102-bar triangular space truss structure, it shows that the presented method can get a satisfied result and has good robustness.
