In this study, a rapid and efficient method for the determination of three chloroanilines in water samples was investigated by using ultrasonication assisted dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (USA-DLLME) technique coupled with high pressure liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection (HPLC-UV).In this extraction method, 60 μL of dodecanol as extraction solvent was added into 10 mL of water sample (pH=11) followed by two minutes of ultrasonication that led to formation of a cloudy solution. The obtained solution was centrifuged for 6 min at 4000 rpm and fine droplets of the extractant containing the analytes were well-separated in the extraction setup1,2.The amount of the collected extractant phase was measured and 10 μL of extractant was diluted with mobile phase (1∶1) and was taken for HPLC-UV analysis.
