Construction control of micro-disturbances in old shanty towns under a large-diameter shield is a difficult problem in the practice of underground geotechnical engineering.The Wuhan,China Metro Line 8 Huangpu Road Station–Xujiapeng Station route under a shield shanty town area faces the construction of a large-diameter shield in which ensuring the safety and stability of the old shanty town poses dual challenges.First,this paper we put forward a grouting reinforcement technology that uses full face powder and a fine sand layer for excavation of the shield tunnel,and we carry out a slurry ratio experiment to obtain the optimal slurry ratio.We conducted real-time monitoring of the settlement and surface subsidence of the shanty area under a super-large-diameter shield.Through the use of existing means of communication for a shield under the wear of information technology construction,and according to the specific circumstances of the shield tunneling machine through which the tunneling parameters are analyzed,we found the total thrust shield and cutter torque,the total thrust of the machine and soil cabin pressure,the excavation rate,and the consistency of the variation of soil pressure with the deformation laws,and finally proposed super-large-diameter slurry shield construction-control measures that apply across shanty towns.
