　　A tunnel under construction is in Longyan city, Fujian province, South China.Due to the extreme burial depth up to 700m, this tunnel may suffer rock burst hazards.In order to know the in-situ stress conditions in surrounding rock masses of this tunnel very well, two stress measurement campaigns were carried out in a inclined shaft for this tunnel during the construction.
