Muscular variation in the forearm flexors is well known.Gantzers muscle (the accessory head of flexor pollicis longus) is among the more common phenomenon and may play an important role in clinical syndromes (e.g., pronator syndrome), Due to its immediate association with the median and anterior interosseous nerves it may change the function of the flexors compartment, and induce pathology in the forehand and hand.
