Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is an impairing neurobehavioral condition, clinically characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.Estimated to have a worldwide pooled prevalence rate of 5.29% in children and 4.4% in adults, ADHD primarily occurs in childhood, although the symptoms persist through adolescence to adulthood in 46-66% of cases.
