  The aim of this study was to fabricate a paper-based microfluidic device (μPAD) to detect fruit quality.The fruit quality can be evaluated with many parameters,such as organoleptic properties (shape,color,texture,flavor and aroma),nutritive value,as well as various chemical and physical characteristics.Typically,fruit quality is expressed by soluble solids content,including glucose,fructose,and total acids.To date,the soluble solids content has been measured by numerous approaches high sensitively and selectively,such as spectrophotometry,high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC).However,these methods require expensive instrumentation,laboratory setup,trained personnel,consuming time and considerable volumes of samples.
