It is a well-known fact that noise can have constructive effects on nonlinear dynamical systems.More excitably, it is found that noise can also play a constructive role in neuronal systems, as indicated both experimentally and theoretically. In the previous articles, noise is usually assumed to have Gaussian properties[1-3], i.e., it has a probability density function of normal distribution. However, in some neuronal systems, it has been revealed experimentally that there exists some kinds of noise with non-Gaussian properties[4,5].Thus, it is reasonable to discuss effects of non-Gaussian noise on neuronal systems theoretically or computationally.
