在水利水电行业的水雨情监测系统中,通过引入WebGIS技术,可以建立一个有效的空间信息共享平台,进而实现实时、动态和准确的多元信息发布。此外,基于Internet的地图化的水雨情查询和显示功能,结合GIS空间模型和分析方法,已逐渐成为用户及时掌握水雨情信息的重要手段,同时,该项技术也为相关部门管理者进行生产调度决策和及时准确地制定防洪应急方案提供了科学依据。
