In recent years,ethylene polymerization based on group 4 metal catalysts has been one of the most exciting developments in the area of catalysis,organometallic chemistry and polymer science,of which nitrogen chelating systems have attracted much attention1.Our group reported a series of group 4 metal amidinate,guanidinate,η3-azaallyl and mixed amidinate-amido complexes,and all of them exhibited moderate to good catalytic activities2.As a continuation of our research,a novel titanium complex bearing the ethylene linked amidinate-amido ligand was developed.
