It is determinant to understand how cells regulate their shape in order to apprehend the mechanisms underlying tissue morphogenesis during development.Most polarization networks exhibit extremely complex organization and intricate regulative loops, making it non-trivial to establish theoretical model that on the one hand captures the full complexity of the system, and on the other hand allows for simple insights in the basic requirements for polarization.In this work we used an original and multidisciplinary approach in order to study the establishment of polarity in the single-cell fission yeast.
