Zn-doped SnO2 samples were successfully synthesized by a sol-gel method.XRD studies showed that the Zn-doped SnO2 samples had the same tetragonal structure as the undoped SnO2.The Zn-doped SnO2 samples were investigated on the Li extraction/insertion performances through charge/discharge and electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS).The optimal doping content of Zn was x=0.05 in Sn1-xZnxO2 system.The electrode reaction reversibility and electronic conductivity was enhanced, and the charge transfer resistance was decreased through the Zn-doping.
