Concomitant with subway network expansion,rapid suburbanization of housing and firms took place in Beijing between 2011 and 2015.But it is unclear whether these changes produced a more balanced spatial configuration of jobs/workers.To answer this question,we propose a method to evaluate the ratio of jobs/workers at the transit station level.Based on individual smart card datasets and regularity of passengers,the paper analysed 1.5 million regular passengers.Their workplace and home stations were identified.A year-to-year evolution of job to worker ratios at the station level is conducted.
