Calisthenics is an aerobic exercise in which people create actions according to their needs and practice so that they can please and enjoy themselves.Therefore, Calisthenics can release peoples press and improve their psychological health, enhance the effect of body-building and make body in the best condition.However, under various presses, the college freshmen are lack of abilities and habits of self-exercise.The present study, putting forward the teaching reform on the basis of the traditional teaching approach of college calisthenics, aims to arouse college students interest in calisthenics, guide them to gain a positive feeling experience and to master a series of methods of learning calisthenics and improve their creative abilities, make college students understand better the essence of calisthenics in practice, and enhance their awareness of lifelong physical education and self-physical training.
