AMnOx/titanium electrocatalyitic membrane as the anode and a stainless steel tube surrounding the membrane as the cathode were connected by a DC regulated power supply to constitute an electrocatalytic membrane reactor (ECMR),which was employed to produce 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropanoic acid (TFPA) from 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propanol (TFP).Meanwhile, the TFPA reacted with the electrolyte - NaOH to produce sodium tetrafluopropanate (STFP).The effect of operating parameters in the ECMR such as residence time (RT),pH value of the solution, reaction temperature, current density and TFP concentration on TFP conversion and STFP selectivity were investigated by single factor experiment. The conversion of TFP reached to 91.9% under the optimum conditions of RT 25 min, reaction temperature 80 ℃,current density 3.17 mA/cm2 and TFP concentration 26.25 mmol/L.In addition, the selectivity of STFP was consistently at 100% under different operating conditions.
