  Many plant leaves found in nature are known to exhibit a characteristic of superhydrophobicity (lotus leaf effect).The present study proposes a solution-immersion and sintering method to fabricate a highly hydrophobic Cu/C surface which retained the surface structure of lotus leaf with high fidelity.
