Purpose: To assess the role of bone scan in the detection of mandibular invasion by oral squamous cell carcinoma Materials and Methods: this was a cross sectional study conducted in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery of Dhaka Dental College Hospital from January 2010 to December 2011 of patients presenting with a definitive diagnosis (with incisional biopsy) of squamous cell carcinomain the oral cavity.
