  Bone tissue engineering is a promising alternative strategy to restore the damaged or diseased bones through the substitution of engineered scaffolds [1,2].In this regard,nanocomposite (NC) porous scaffolds consisting of bioactive inorganic nanoparticles and biodegradable polymers have gained increasing attention for bone tissue engineering applications,since they combine the advantages of both inorganic nanoparticles and polymers [3].Several approaches have been proposed for the fabrication of these NC porous scaffolds,such as particulate leaching,electrospinning,freezedrying and Pickering high internal phase emulsion (HIPE) templating.Recently,Pickering HIPE templating is a promising method due to its low cost,simplicity and versatility.
