Rechargeable lithium ion batteries (LIBs) have become one of the dominant power sources for portable electronic devices.Among various LIB anode materials,cobalt oxide (Co3O4) receives extensive much attention since it is expected to have a high capacity and excellent cycling performance.[1,2] Although the capacity has been improved,the practical use of Co3O4 as anode for LIBs is still largely hindered by their poor cycling performance.
