Introduction:Influenza viruses cause significant morbidity and mortality around the world.Each year,seasonal influenza viruses infect 5-20% of population,causing 250,000-500,000 deaths worldwide.Although vaccination is the primary strategy for preventing influenza infections,currently neuraminidase (NA) inhibitors are effective for the prophylaxis and treatment of seasonal influenza viruses and HPAI virus A(HSN 1).Oseltamivir (TamifluTM) is the most frequently prescribed drug for controlling influenza and creations stocks on a case of occurrence a new pandemic variant of influenza virus in many countries.This class of drugs acts by inhibiting the activity of neuraminidase,preventing the virus particles release from infected cells.
