Transition-metal phosphides,especially Ni2P,have attracted increasing attention as a new family of non-sulfided hydrotreating catalysts [1].In our previous study,we reported a new approach to synthesize metal phosphides,i.e.,reduction from the oxidic precursors in H2 plasma (PR) under mild conditions in short time [2].In the present work,two Ni2P/MCM-41 (20wt.% and a Ni/P atomic ratio 1.25) catalysts prepared by the conventional temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) method (Ni2P-TPR) and the PR method (Ni2P-TPR) were studied by XAS (BL14W1 of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility) to better understand the influence of the preparation method on the structure of Ni2P/MCM-41.
