Covalent adaptable networks (CANs) polymers possess reversible covalent crosslinks which allow them to adapt to an externally applied stimulus. These polymer networks can be alternated through the bond exchange reactions. In this paper, transesterification reaction of diglycidyl ether of bisphenoi A (DGEBA) and a mixture of fatty dicarboxylic and tricarboxylic was simulated by molecular simulations.Factors influencing the bond exchange reactions were analyzed, special attention was paid on its dependence on temperature.
