  Glycerol organosolv pretreatment has been confirmed to effectively enhance the enzymatic hydrolysis of some lignocellulosic biomass.However,the pretreatment mechanism has not as yet been elucidated,and few literatures are reported on charaterization of structural changes in the pretreated substrate.In this work,the atmospheric aqueous glycerol autocatalytic organosolv pretreatment(AAGAOP)of sugarcane bagasse was explored.And physicochemical change in the substrate subjected to AAGAOP was mapped with such analytic tools as TGA,FT-IR,solid-state CP/MAS 13C-NMR,XRD,SEM,AFM and CLSM.
