Glare evaluation is one of the important evaluation indexes of indoor lighting. This study investigates the glare evaluation method of indoor lighting, and proposes a method of indoor lighting glare test based on digital image. With this,a set of glare measurement system is established. The main research is as follows:First of all,the main causes of indoor glare are analyzed, the evaluation and measurement methods of discomfort glare are studied, and the unified glare index(UGR)calculation method and correlation coefficient of subjective evaluation are introduced.Based on the unified glare index(UGR)theory,a method of indoor glare UGR test and evaluation based on digital image method is proposed.Secondly, according to the principle of camera imaging, the formulas for calculating the solid angle, position index and luminance of the light source are derived.Through the digital image collecting of the indoor lighting scene, the position index, and the solid angle, the luminance of the indoor light source are extracted and the experimental verification and the error analysis are carried out.The experimental results show that the relative error range of the solid angle of the light source is 1.149~7.134%,and the relative error range of the position index is 0.428%-1.905%.Furthermore,by studying the relationship between the exposure of the digital camera and the image gray value and the luminance calibration experiment,we achieve the image gray value of the object to extract the object luminance, and the maximum relative error is 5.45%through experimental analysis. Finally, using the regression analysis method to establish a simplified model of the unified glare index(UGR),the researcher designed and developed a kind of indoor lighting glare test software based on OpenCV and MFC.On that basis,a set of glare evaluation and control system is established, and its functions have been tested. This research provides some theoretical methods and technical support for the evaluation and control of indoor discomfort glare, and provides a new idea for the research of indoor lighting discomfort glare.
