2003年7月5日,我军第一位“百岁将军”孙毅因病逝世。孙毅1904年5月12日出生于河北省大城县一个贫民家庭,原名孙俊明,就是克明俊德之意。16岁那年,因家境贫寒,外出谋生前改名孙毅,立志做果敢坚强的人。参加革命后,孙毅将军又有了两个流传很广的绰号,“孙胡子”和“孙行者”,后来又成为我军第一位“百岁将军”。他的名字和外号,联系着许多珍闻佳话,也包含着丰富深刻的内涵,宛如人生丝线穿起来的一颗颗珍珠。
July 5, 2003, our army’s first “hundred centenarian” Sun Yi died of illness. Sun Yi was born on May 12, 1904 in Dacheng County, Hebei Province, a poor family, formerly known as Sun Junming, meaning Kemin Junde. 16 years old, due to poor family, go out to earn a living renamed Sun Yi, determined to be bold and resolute people. After taking part in the revolution, General Sun Yi had two other well-known nicknames, “Sun Beard” and “Sunwalker,” and became the first “centenarian” of our army. His name and nickname, linked with many treasures story, but also contains a rich and profound connotation, like a string of pearls dressed in life silk.
