根据韩礼德系统功能语言学对语篇分析的界定以及英语专业泛读课堂存在的种种问题,从语篇教学在泛读课堂中的应用为出发点来探讨语篇教学的重要性,从而得出泛读课的目的即是教授学生在多方面因素的共同作用下对语篇的结构和大意从整体上把握,而非字词句的逐一解读。
