Figure a rose mouth mandrel can be used in the gold cutting machine tools and fixture parts, the mandrel material is 65Mn. The mandrel is made up of the tailstock 1, the centering sleeve 2 and the pressing cylinder 3. The centering sleeve 2 has two conical sections and a cylindrical section, and has a longitudinal through slot. There is a small slot 4 at the junction of the conical section and the cylindrical section so that when the axial force acts on the spindle, the centering sleeve can be elastically deformed and the part mounted thereon can be clamped. The shape of the caudal pedicle depends on the shape of the mating hole of the device, which can be cylindrical, tapered, and other shapes. Compression cylinder 3 in the lathe tailstock sleeve can withstand axial force. The mating surfaces of the centering sleeves can be smooth or textured with various axial cross-sectional shapes (Figure b). The diameter of the centering sleeve is larger than that of the processed blank by 0.01 ~ 0.1mm. Due to the elastic deformation of the cone mandrel, it can clamp the blank in the mandrel.
