汉语的词与词之间的搭配,有一定的规律,每个词都有自己的语义场和语法场,不能随意组合。但是文学语言又最忌讳陈陈相因、众喙一辞,而崇尚新鲜和独特。高明者常常通过特定的语言环境,巧妙地改变词语的习惯组合方式,构成表面不和谐的语义超常,借以表达作者的意蕴,激发读者的丰富想象,使读者在对这超常形式的咀嚼中,细细地体味其深层的含义,获得如苏东坡所说的“反常合道,奇趣横生”的美的效果。请看钱钟书《围城》(人民文学出版社,1991)中的例子。
