杭州刃具厂生产的45°螺旋角的立铣刀、原在万能铣床上加工,不但占用了很多万能机床,而且生产率低,68年该厂用上海工具厂钻头铣沟机形式机床改装成ф3～6、ф8～12二种规格的45°螺旋角立铣刀铣沟机床。图1所示为ф3～6、45°立铣沟机床外形。改装后机床较原来钻头铣沟机床的结构简单、刚性增强、体积缩小,而生产率却有所提高。
