With the deepening of new curriculum reform, how to guide students to personalize reading in Chinese teaching of junior high school is a question that teachers need to think about. Because many teachers have some discrepancies in the understanding of personalized reading, only the individualized reading style is applied and the essence is not mastered. Therefore, the teaching effect is not obvious enough. In this regard, this paper puts forward the premise of implementing personalized reading in junior high school Chinese teaching and introduces the corresponding strategies.
