项目《DNA氧化在哺乳动物发育表观遗传调控中的作用及其机制研究》获得陈嘉庚生命科学奖。该成果阐明了DNA去甲基化过程中的关键步骤及困扰科学界多年的DNA去甲基化难题,为研究DNA去甲基化的发生机制及其在胚胎发育过程中的功能提供了理论框架。获奖人是中国科学院上海生命科学研究院徐国良研究员。深圳华大基因研究院王俊研究员因其带领团队开展的人体肠道元基因组研究揭示了肠道内微生物基因的多样性及其与疾病易感性和药物反应等相关的重要因素,获得陈嘉庚青年科学奖生命科学奖。
Project “DNA Oxidation in mammalian epigenetic regulation of the role and mechanism of” access to Tan Kah Kee Life Science Award. The results elucidate the key steps in demethylation of DNA and the problem of demethylation of DNA that has plagued the scientific community for many years and provide a theoretical framework for studying the mechanism of DNA demethylation and its function in embryonic development . The winner was Xu Guoliang, a researcher at Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Researcher Wang Jun from Shenzhen Huada Gene Institute, led by his team, revealed the diversity of microbial genes in the intestine and its important factors related to disease susceptibility and drug response. He received the Tan Kah Kee Young Scientist Award Life Science Award.
