李鸿章是晚清军事近代化的奠基者之一,尤其对于近代海军的创建功不可没,其创建和经营的北洋海军不但成为晚清所倚重的海军力量,而且为尔后中国海军的发展壮大奠定了基础。本文着重探讨了李鸿章作为洋务重臣,对于北洋海军的创建和经营所作出的贡献。 Li Hongzhang was one of the founders of the military modernization in the late Qing Dynasty. Especially for the creation of the modern navy, the Beiyang navy, which was founded and operated, not only became the naval force relied on by the late Qing dynasty, but also laid the foundation for the development of the Chinese navy later basis. This article focuses on Li Hongzhang as a minister of foreign affairs, for the creation and operation of the Northern navy’s contribution.
