铁窗之内,一个被判处死刑的贩毒女犯折叠了一千只纸鹤,每只纸鹤上写着一个字。雪白的纸,鲜红的纸。折叠,剪修,手中的纸很快变成了一只美丽的鹤。一笔一划,工工整整,她用颤抖的手在纸鹤上写下一个字:痛。接着,她叠好了第二只纸鹤。在纸鹤上写:悔。一只又一只纸鹤,每只鹤上写一个字。千只纸鹤,组成了一篇千字文,题为《痛悔人生》。1998年6月,武汉市第一看守所。因贩毒而被判处死刑的女青年董晓阳,在等待最高人民法院核准期间,把自己的无穷悔恨叠进了千只纸鹤。
