One Southeast Asian region lies between Asia and Australasia and between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. Its strategic position is very important and its natural resources and properties are extremely rich. Therefore, since the war, it has become an important area where the United States and the Soviet Union have expanded and competed, causing the region to have long been in turmoil, war and division. Shortly after the war, the United States entered into a military agreement with the Philippine government in 1947 on the grounds of preventing the resumption of Japan’s east hill and keeping the U.S. military bases in the Philippines for 99 years.
