西北太平洋两个柱状样沉积学、矿物学与环境磁学的综合分析表明 ,在排除了火山活动干扰后可以直接利用石英丰度、磁化率及非滞后剩磁等替代性标志 ,指示来自东亚大陆的风尘沉积 ,提取有关古大气环流的信息 .通过RC1 0 1 75柱状样的风尘记录与氧同位素曲线对比 ,发现全新世气候最佳期以及末次间冰期是风尘堆积量明显增强时期 ,与早期的认识并不一致 ,显示了海、陆风尘记录与全球冰期旋回之间以及气候与环境系统的内部存在相当复杂的非线性关系
