上海市化学化工学会有机化学学组1981年年会于11月20日至21日在科学会堂召开。年会收到论文109篇,其中包括金属有机(25篇),物理有机(21篇),天然有机和有机结构测定(43篇),有机化工(7篇),有机分析和一般有机合成(13篇)等,反映了有机化学领域中的新进展。论文报告全部采用了墙报展讲形式,由主要作者宣讲。宣讲的有袁开基和梅斌夫先生等老一辈有机化学家,也有在科研机构、高校、工厂等单位工作多年具有丰富经验的科技人员和新秀,也包括许多研究生和出国进修人员。除学会会员和专业工作者外,还有学会领导和科技情报、出版的同志,他们聚集一堂,共同讨论,互相交流。年会期间,传来了人工合成核酸协作组的人工全合成核酸具有生命活力这一重大喜讯,标志着我国科学技术又登上了一个新的高峰。人工合成核酸协作组在年会上报导了酵母丙氨酸转移核糖核酸,5’端半分子中三个大片段的合成工作。在金属有机和物理有机方面,有机所黄耀曾领导的“第五,六族元素的有机化合物在有机合成中应用的研究”和“π-二苯芳烃铬(O)催化齐聚全氟烯烃及聚合全氟炔烃”的研究,得到了与会人员的好评。他们还报导了近年发现的一种新的重排反应——炔酯烯醚重排反应。年会上也可看到,
