今年5月17日为我国第19个“全国助残日”(《中华人民共和国残疾人保障法》第48条规定:每年五月第三个星期日为全国助残日),本刊将聚焦关注患有先天残疾或者缺陷的新生儿。我国每年约有100万名新生儿患有出生缺陷,占总出生人数的5%左右。其中,第一位是先天性心脏病,每年约22万例;第二位是神经管畸形,每年10万例;第三位是唇腭裂,每年5万例;然后是先天愚型,每年3万例。出生缺陷不但可以引起死亡,而且大部分可造成残疾,给社会和家庭带来沉重负担。为何新生儿会出现如此缺陷?如何才能有效避免新生儿缺陷?且听专家为我们解疑释惑。
