本文介绍侧烟道远红外烘芯炉的结构、有关设计参数的选择与计算。该炉炉体全部采用红砖砌筑,因而降低了炉子造价;烟道入口设置在靠近炉底的炉墙内,从而增加了炉气环流途径,改善了炉内传热、传质过程,提高了炉子下部的温度,使炉内温度分布均匀。同时,在炉顶设置一个防爆门与防爆烟囱,增加了运行安全性。辐射板的加热元件采用星形联接中点接地方式,方便了电气安装与维修。经多年使用表明,该炉结构合理、耗电省,炉内温度分布均匀,经烘干的各层泥芯色泽一致,满足柴油机铸件泥芯烘干的要求。
