本文通过对日本航空公司的波音747SR-46飞机(JA8119)在1985年8月12日发生的空中尾部解体坠毁事故与台湾中华航空公司的波音747-209B(B-18255)在2002年5月25日发生的空中尾部解体坠毁事故的对比,找出两起事故发生的原因及其共同点,给出了改善当前民用飞机的重要承力部件整修以及追踪监控的建议和充分平衡飞机飞行时数、起落次数的机队运用管理模式的建议,对于避免以后发生该类严重事故,减少安全隐患,提高航空公司的经济效益具有一定的参考价值。
