Amoco completed a test using a coiled tubing (CT) to simulate oil well litter removal and took out the stuck steel wire (0.108 in.) At 9,500 feet downhole. The technology is considered a world leader in that it eliminates the risk of removing the card wire by traditional wireline fishing operations.
