一般来说,我们喜欢、认可乃至崇拜某一位作家,都是因为他的作品,通过阅读他的作品,去直觉感知他的内心,并由此获得情感共鸣。尽管孟子论诗,提出“知人论世”的原则,但更多的时候,我们还是愿意相信自己的直觉,而有意无意地屏蔽掉作者的生平出处、作品的背景之类的内容。钱锺书先生的名言:“假如你吃了个鸡蛋,觉得不错,何必要认识那下蛋的母鸡呢?”如果你只是理解成他不愿与俗子交游的托词,未免肤浅。实际上,钱翁此语,隐藏着他对孟子“知人论世”观的商榷,他意图说明,文学本身,就有独立的审美价值,不需要依托于政事学术。钱翁此论尚矣,但我对苏东坡的态度正好相反,我愿意结识这只下蛋的
Generally speaking, we like, approve and even worship a certain writer because of his works. By reading his works, we intuitively perceive his inner feelings and get emotional resonance. In spite of Mencius’s theory of poetry, we put forward the principle of “knowing people and discussing the world.” More often, however, we are still willing to believe our own intuitions and consciously or unconsciously block the author’s life story and the background of the work. Mr. Qian’s famous quote: “If you eat an egg and feel good, why do you need to know the egg hen?” “If you just understand that he does not want to make friends with vulgar words, it is superficial. In fact, QIAN Weng phrase hides his discussion of Mencius’s concept of ”knowing others and discussing man’s world." He intends to show that literature itself has its own independent aesthetic value and does not need to rely on academic affairs.
