在这次报业竞争力年会的“固本培源论坛”上,天津今晚报集团的刘凤山副总编讲到,作为一份地方报纸,所要固的“本”就是新闻内容,所要培的“源”就是读者的忠诚度。他还讲到晚报的核心竞争力就是新闻的采编能力、对新闻独特的理解力、判断力、加工力,是对本土文化的生动再现和全力张扬的能力,是对新闻读者需求的准确把握力。这引起了笔者的兴趣与思考。因为,不管我们把竞争力研究到什么程度,也不管竞争力的万花筒多么丰盈多姿,它的版面新闻内容,始终是它本源意义上的竞争力或实力。
