IFN-r is an effective immunomodulatory factor that activates NK cells and Mφ and plays an important role in the induction, differentiation and activation of CTL cells. In order to be able to establish a site in the body that can continuously provide IFN-r, in order to promote the inhibitory effect of CTL cells. The authors transfected mouse IFN-r cDNA into a mouse glioma-specific CTL clone (E-4) and obtained two substrains (Er-6, Er-9) that could produce IFN-r continuously. The killing activity of CTLs transfected with IFN-r cDNA was 2-3 times higher than that before transfection. The authors first performed an in vitro cytotoxicity assay, adding 1×10~4 203-glioma cells (203-G) labeled with 0.1mCi~(51)Cr to the effect.
