钢锭模内采用石墨渣保护浇注、吊挂稀土金属棒的加入方法,是根据稀土元素的化学活性,科学地将稀土金属加入到没有炼钢炉渣、没有耐火材料、没有空气供氧的钢液中。完全避免了水口结瘤、汤道堵塞现象;能显著降低钢中氨含量,消除低倍稀土夹杂物孔洞缺陷;稳定提高稀土回收率达65~85%;钢中稀土分布比较均匀;可使钢中长条状的硫化锰夹杂物转变为20微米以下的细小球状稀土夹杂物。这一加入方法,能稳定稀土在钢中的优良作用。
