群星争辉又一年。一九八三年，我们探矿工程在生产和科研上都取得了显著成绩。“探矿工程”杂志在交流生产管理经验，推广先进技术，促进探矿工程科学技术的发展等方面，起到了有力的促进作用。一九八四年是我国各条战线开创社会主义现代化建设新局面的第二年，举国上下，生气勃勃，一片兴望景象，人们都力争在新的一年里作出新贡献。新年伊始，衷心祝愿探矿工程界的新、老同志们和“探矿工程”杂志，更上一层楼，取得更大的成就。
Stars fierce another year. In 1983, our exploration project achieved remarkable achievements both in production and in scientific research. Prospecting Magazine has played a significant role in exchanging production management experience, promoting advanced technologies and promoting the development of science and technology in prospecting engineering. In 1984, the second year after our country’s various fronts began to create a new situation in the socialist modernization drive, the entire nation was full of vigor and vitality and people are striving to make new contributions in the new year. At the beginning of the new year, I sincerely hope that the new and old comrades of the exploration engineering community and the “Prospecting Engineering” magazine will take a higher level and achieve even greater accomplishments.
