根据近来报纸上,和一部分汇报材料的反映:中南区的湖北、湖南和西北地区一部分的中等学校,在实行改革旧教育的方法、步骤上,都发生了性急、粗暴的偏向。虽然这些偏向领导上已及时的纠正了,但这一教训是值得各地注意的;尤其目前正在土改,或准备土改的地区,这种偏向很容易产生,在领导上要早为预防。首先,引起我们注意的,是这些学校,在改造团结旧有教职员,和教导学生方面,曾滥用农村阶级斗争的手段,代替长期、细致、耐心的教育方式。如把地主家庭出身的校长,斗争罚跪六点钟;教员思想落后,工作态度不好,不懂得新教育政策,不改造教学方法,也开会斗争;某女中的学生,犯了偷窃行为,也开斗争会。把斗争会广泛的使用,用斗争会代替了对学生的新道德观念教育,代替了教职员的政治、业务学习;他们把很复杂的、很曲折的思想改
According to recent reports in the newspapers and part of the report materials, secondary and high schools in parts of Hubei, Hunan and northwest China in Central and Southern China experienced an impatient and crude bias in implementing the methods and steps for reforming the old education.
