Objective To investigate the efficacy of continuous blood purification (CVVHDF) in the treatment of severe infections complicated with MODS and ARF. Methods The clinical data of 26 patients with severe infection complicated with MODS and ARF who were treated with CVVHDF were retrospectively analyzed. Results The survival rate was 69.2% in 18 cases. The scores of Cr, BUN, PH, K +, IL-6, MAP and APACHEⅡwere all improved after treatment for 24 hours. Conclusions CVVHDF can quickly correct the acid-base balance disorders of water and electrolyte, effectively remove metabolites and inflammatory mediators, improve the internal environment and hemodynamics, stabilize the circulation, improve the organ perfusion, reduce the severity of the disease and significantly improve the prognosis.
