一、区域地质背景及盆地地质特征简况横断山地区位于青藏高原东部,包括青海南部、四川西部、西藏东部的昌都地区及滇西地区,为“三江”(金沙江、澜沧江、怒江)流经的主要地段。该区地形切割强烈,地势险峻;地质构造复杂,矿产资源十分丰富;岩浆活动,火山作用极其频繁。新生代的火山喷溢尤为引人注目,形成了北起青海南部,横亘西藏东部,南抵云南西部一系列颇为壮观的以粗面岩类和安山岩类为主的横断山区新生代火山岩带。
I. Regional Geological Background and Geological Characteristics of the Basin The Hengduan Mountains are located in the eastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, including southern Qinghai, western Sichuan, eastern Qamdo and western Yunnan, and are characterized by “Sanjiang” (Jinshajiang, Lancang and Nujiang) Through the main lot. Terrain cutting strong, steep terrain; complex geological structure, mineral resources are very rich; magmatic activity, the role of volcano is extremely frequent. The Cenozoic volcanic spurt is especially noticeable, forming a series of quite spectacular new-generation volcanic rocks in the Hengduan Mountains, dominated by trachyids and andesites, in the south of Qinghai Province from the north to the east of Tibet in the north.
