In order to deepen the discussion on the humanistic spirit, the issue must be embodied in its context of time and space. Based on this, this article argues that the relative separation of the three major economic, political and cultural fields caused by the rise of the market economy makes it impossible for the normative function of cultural activities for social life to obtain a rigid restraint by virtue of political power Force, but into a “soft” constraint that can only rely on its own non-mandatory spiritual power. Inconsistent with this change is the realistic basis that triggers the sense of loss of cultural humanities and humanities. The existence of humane spirit in the market society is also different from the unity of the past society and will be transformed into a multidirectional state where the modern orientation and the traditional orientation coexist. In this transformation, what cultural people can do is to adapt to the “marginalization” on the one hand, and to establish a new learning system on the other to serve as the foundation or carrier of the humanistic spirit.
