In this paper, the gray cast iron in the case of fusion welding deposited metal and base metal fusion bad, or even completely non-fused phenomenon was confirmed that the graphite phase is the basic factor affecting the fusion, and the length of the graphite sheet has In a decisive sense, other non-metallic inclusions in the cast iron, such as oxides, also have a great influence on the fusibility. The presence of these substances, when reached in substantial amounts, can result in a complete lack of fusion of the deposited metal with the base metal. The presence of these non-metallic inclusions in turn is closely related to the graphite in the cast iron and acting together to have a more detrimental effect on weld fusion. This article also discusses other factors that affect fusion.
